Pong Game Studios is a third party developer game studio for land based, online and social gaming markets based in Woodbridge, Ontario. The studio provides full service turnkey solutions to some of the largest gaming companies in the world. Through its partners the studio distributes its games globally. And with an emphasis on high quality, premium graphics and unique math models, Pong has developed some of the best performing content in the industry. It’s the place where unique creations come to life!

 

Different game genres require different ways to move and animate. Whether its physics, motion tween or more complex character animation, we’ll make it happen. We provide custom made visual effects, working directly with the artists to achieve high quality, engaging visuals.

Accessible Employment Policy (AODA) – Ontario Intent   Pong Game Studios Corp provides accessible employment in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and its associated regulations. This policy sets out the company’s commitment to standards for accessible employment. It does not apply to volunteers or other individuals who are not paid.   Statement of Commitment   Pong Game Studios Corp is committed to providing an accessible environment for all clients, employees, job applicants, suppliers, and visitors who may enter our premises, access our information, or use our services. As an organization, we respect and comply with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and its associated regulations. We strive to provide an accessible and welcoming environment for everyone by identifying and removing barriers in our workplace and ensuring that new barriers are not created. We are committed to meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities in a timely and integrative manner that respects their dignity and independence.   Definitions   Accessible formats: Includes but not limited to large print, recorded audio and electronic formats, braille, and other formats usable by persons with disabilities.   Communication supports: Includes but not limited to captioning, alternative and augmentative communication supports, plain language, sign language, and other supports that facilitate effective communication.   Redeployment: The reassignment of an employee to another department or job in the company as an alternative to layoff when their job or department has been eliminated by the company.   Hiring   Accommodations are available from the beginning of the recruitment process. Information regarding the availability of accommodations is included in all job postings. Applicants selected to participate in an assessment, or the selection process are informed that accommodations are available upon request. Where an accommodation is requested, the company consults with the applicant and provides or arranges for suitable accommodation that meets their individual needs. Successful applicants are made aware of the company’s policies for accommodating employees with disabilities when an offer of employment is made.   Accessible Workplace Information   Pong Game Studios Corp ensures that new employees are aware of the policies and supports available for employees with disabilities as soon as reasonably possible after beginning employment and all employees are informed of any updates to existing policies.  Upon request, the company provides or arranges for the provision of accessible formats and communication supports for employees with disabilities regarding information needed to perform their job and other information that is generally available to all employees in the workplace. Individualized workplace emergency response information is also provided to an employee with a disability where necessary. An employee who requires workplace information in an accessible format or with communication supports should contact Human Resources. The company will consult with the employee making the request to determine the best way to provide the accessible format or communication support.   Individual Accommodations    Pong Game Studios Corp creates, and documents individual accommodation plans for employees with disabilities upon request. An employee with a disability who requires an individual accommodation plan should inform Human Resources. These plans include:   • Information regarding accessible formats and communication supports, where requested. • Individualized workplace emergency response information, where necessary; and • Details of any other accommodation provided.   Where an employee is absent from work due to a disability and requires accommodations to return to work, the company will develop and document individual return-to-work processes.   Performance Management and Career Development   The accessibility needs of employees with disabilities are considered in all aspects of the employment relationship, including during performance management processes, career development or advancement opportunities, and in the event of redeployment. Individual accommodation plans are consulted, where they exist, as part of these process.

Establish, implement, and maintain a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. Include within it’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan a statement of commitment to meet the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner. Make the corporate policy and Multi-Year Accessibility Plan available to the public on Pong Game Studio’s website and available in accessible formats upon request. Training Provide training on the requirements of the IASR and on disability-related obligations under Ontario Human Rights legislation, to the following individuals: employees, volunteers, and any others who may be acting on Pong Game Studios’ behalf in dealing with the public or any other third parties. Training will also be provided to all people who are involved in the development of Pong Studios’ policies. Maintain records of the dates when training is completed and the individuals who completed the training. Information and Communications Standards Put a statement on its website about the availability of accessible formats and communication supports and, upon request, provide or arrange for the provision of accessible formats in a timely manner. Ensure that the processes for receiving and responding to feedback are accessible to persons with disabilities by providing or arranging for the provision of accessible formats and communications supports, upon request. Employment Standards On its website and on Pong Studios job postings, specify that accommodations are available for applicants with disabilities. Inform applicants selected to participate in an assessment or selection process that accommodations are available during the recruitment process, upon request, in relation to materials and processes to be used. Notify the successful applicant, when making offers of employment, of its policies for accommodating employees with disabilities. Inform employees and new hires (as soon as practicable) of Pong Game Studios’ policies to support employees with disabilities and keep employees up to date on changes to these policies. Upon request from an employee with a disability, and further to consultation with the employee, provide for suitable accessible formats and communication supports for: information needed by the employee to perform their job, and information that is generally available to employees. Develop a written process for the development of individual accommodation plans, upon request. Develop and document a return-to-work process for employees who have been absent due to a disability; the process shall outline the steps Pong Game Studios will take to facilitate the employee’s return to work and use the employee’s individual accommodation plan as part of that process. Take into account the accessibility needs of employees with disabilities and individual accommodation plans when utilizing performance management processes, considering career development and advancement opportunities and redeployment of its employees with disabilities.
